Job description

The General Manager (GM) will be responsible for the full spectrum of business and operational leadership of the new Joint Venture Company (JV) - Manufacturing and Assembly – Lithium Battery Precision Components

This role is pivotal in translating the JV's strategic objectives into operational execution.

The GM will oversee manufacturing, commercial, financial, human resources, and compliance functions, ensuring profitable and sustainable growth and will also foster a collaborative culture aligned with both JV partners’ values and goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic & Business Leadership

Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with JV partner objectives and long-term vision.

Ensure alignment of the JV’s goals with evolving trends in lithium batteries precision component manufacturing.

Represent the JV in key stakeholder engagements, including clients, investors, regulators etc

Operational Management

Set up, lead, and continuously improve all manufacturing operations with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety.

Oversee end-to-end supply chain, logistics, and production planning to meet demand.

Drive lean manufacturing, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts and performance reports.

Identify and pursue business development and market expansion opportunities.

Negotiate key customer contracts and vendor agreements.

Organisational Development

Build a high-performance leadership team across operations, engineering, quality, HR, and finance.

Develop an organisational culture that fosters innovation, accountability, and cross-cultural integration.

Ensure compliance with local laws, industry regulations, and JV governance protocols.
