Job summary

JDE Peet’s is seeking a GL Specialist to manage all accounting activities for the FEC, supporting corporate and statutory reporting. You will collaborate with Controlling, HR, Tax, and Corporate functions to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The role requires strong IFRS knowledge, solid experience in finance within manufacturing/FMCG, and proficiency in SAP R/3 and SAP BPC. A proactive, structured mindset and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
• 5+ years in finance, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
• MIA membership is a plus.
• Knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting.
• Knowledge of SAP R/3 and SAP BPC.

Responsibilities

• Support Marketing & Sales Unit and Manufacturing Unit in accounting activities.
• Liaise with external service provider for outsourced accounting activities.
• Timely monthly creation and reporting of P&L, balance sheets IFRS and statutory reports.
• Process accurately in accordance with procedures.
• Provide analytical support and data for decision making.
• Ensure timely and consistent work output and adherence to internal controls.
• Prepare forecasts and track variances in processes.
• Analyze issues and risks with project teams for deeper investigations.
• Execute ad-hoc analyses as needed for business needs.
• Maintain compliance with internal control framework.
• Report on operational expenses for the shared services cluster.
