As part of the Global Shared Service Centre (SSC) of Wilmar, we are looking for a dynamic, customer service-oriented, and quality-minded team player to join our SSC's continuous expansion in 2025. The position offers an opportunity to significantly enhance your accounting knowledge and expertise while working for a well-known, fast-growing SSC of a Fortune 500 company.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform end-to-end general ledger activities, including journals, allocations, inventory valuations, adjustments, and period-end closing activities.
2. Review and analyze financial statements, reconcile balance sheets, and follow up on open items/issues for closure.
3. Conduct intercompany reconciliations and reporting, collaborating closely with relevant parties to resolve differences.
4. Perform bank reconciliations and bank clearing, coordinating with operations and finance on open items.
5. Maintain and capitalize fixed assets, process asset movements, complete postings, depreciation, reporting, and analysis.
6. Prepare reports for group and local reporting.
7. Create, update, or delete vendor and customer master data as required.

Requirements:

• Accounting Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong accounting knowledge.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience or audit experience.
• Knowledge or experience with SAP and SSC environment preferred.
• Flexibility to support different time zones (7-4pm, 1-10pm).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to handle tight deadlines.
• Action-oriented with good analytical skills.
