Overview

The Accountant will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and reconciliation processes within the accounting and finance department.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all financial accounting activities are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with company policies, local regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Actively participate in internal and external audits, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Provide technical expertise in the Record-to-Report process, addressing escalations and resolving complex issues effectively.
  • Review financial accounting reports, reconciliations, variance analyses, and related documentation.
  • Prepare required schedules and coordinate the compilation of supporting documents for internal and external audits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as third-party partners.
  • Provide tax-related information for annual tax computations and estimated tax payments.
  • Participate in asset creation and updates, including editing settlement rules between WBS elements and definitive assets.
  • Support business units in the asset tagging process.
  • Maintain and implement asset capitalization policies and procedures.
  • Execute monthly closing activities for the asset module.
  • Contribute to project management activities, including master data creation and setting capitalization dates.
  • Perform the role of CTA and Fixed Assets Accountant in line with the Financial Target Operating Model (FTOM).
Qualifications
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with local accounting standards and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the industrial or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
