General Accountant

About the role

As a General Accountant at Infra Systems Technology Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in the company's financial operations. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur. You will be responsible for a wide range of accounting and reporting duties, ensuring the company's financial records are accurate and compliant.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
2. Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts
3. Conducting financial analyses and preparing reports for management
4. Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
5. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and insights
7. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing them

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar General Accountant role, preferably in the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, practices, and reporting standards
• Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• A team-oriented attitude and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
