Job summary

New Era Technology is seeking an experienced DevOps/Digital Engineer to be deployed at a prestigious client in Malaysia. The team manages end-to-end AWS infrastructure and GenAI-enabled applications, focusing on security, scalability, and cost-aware cloud design.

You will contribute to GenAI workloads, implement security monitoring, and support day-to-day cloud platform operations across AWS services including RDS, ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
• Good AWS fundamentals: IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch.
• Exposure to cloud security tooling: Inspector, Security Hub, WAF, Shield, GuardDuty, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Configuration as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD concepts; GitHub Actions a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver GenAI applications on AWS (e.g., AI-powered tools).
• Participate in architecture and design discussions for GenAI workloads on AWS.
• Integrate AWS AI/ML services (Bedrock, Lambda, API Gateway, S3) into workflows.
• Work with AI-assisted development tools (VS Code, GitHub Copilot, Kiro).
• Maintain runbooks and technical documentation for GenAI features.
