The Planning & Forecasting Lead manages the performance of the finance team supporting the relevant Finance Directors (FD) for the region. They review regional annual and monthly forecasts, challenge and finalize the annual budget for the GC&I region, and coordinate, supervise, and consolidate financial forecasting information to ensure timely and compliant managerial financial reporting, facilitating decision making.

This role offers the opportunity to lead key activities that will advance your career, including:

  1. Working with the regional team to prepare in-market annual budgets and communicate them to the finance team
  2. Comparing historical results against budgets and forecasts, performing variance analysis, and recommending improvements
  3. Preparing management reports (e.g., S&OP decks) for executive leadership to support decision making
  4. Handling ad-hoc reporting requests from regional VP & FD and other stakeholders, such as trend analysis for specific product types
  5. Understanding the link between plan & actuals, analyzing gaps, challenging business for variations, and defining future growth strategies
  6. Collaborating with business partners to finalize plans, forecasts, and management reports
  7. Managing planning activities and drafting management reports (e.g., MPR)
  8. Overseeing the core commercial cycle (CCC)
  9. Serving as the point of contact for all management reporting inquiries
  10. Partnering with regional finance and commercial teams
  11. Coordinating and consolidating inputs from Market P&F Analysts to finalize plans, forecasts, and reports
  12. Supporting planning activities for the GCI region, including MYQ, LQE, Plan, Flip, Latest estimates & Rollover, and preparing presentations, templates, and analyses
