Job summary

Crown Furniture Manufacture Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Sample Maker in Meru, Selangor. You will create furniture samples and prototypes, operate woodworking equipment safely, and ensure quality before mass production.

This role bridges design concepts and production, demanding attention to detail and teamwork. You will read technical drawings, document procedures, and collaborate with design and production teams to resolve issues and improve manufacturing methods.

Qualifications

• Experience in furniture manufacturing or cabinet-making preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Create and fabricate furniture samples and prototypes according to design specifications and technical drawings
• Operate and maintain woodworking equipment safely and efficiently
• Conduct quality inspections on sample pieces to identify defects or improvements
• Document sample production processes and findings to support continuous improvement
• Collaborate with design and production teams to troubleshoot technical issues and optimise methods
• Prepare detailed reports on sample testing, material performance, and production feasibility
• Maintain accurate records of sample specifications, modifications, and production timelines
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all manufacturing processes
• Contribute to planning and scheduling of sample production to meet deadlines
• Provide feedback to improve product designs based on manufacturing experience
