We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer, Fund Accounting Analyst 1 – C09 - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Fund Accounting Analyst 1 – C09) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In this role, you’re expected to:
  • Perform a first line control role in the daily NAV production.
  • Review exceptions and resolve those applicable to role responsibility; escalate those not applicable timely to supervisor.
  • Develop strong client relationships, resolve client queries timely and accurately.
  • Proactively ensure attainment of SLAs/KPIs, escalating issues as required; collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver client requirements.
  • Own and take responsibility for issues and resolutions to closure.
  • Monitor errors, complaints and near misses; record appropriately in the Incident log.
  • Ensure documentation exists for any client-specific procedures.
  • Act as technical and knowledge resource to the team/business unit; participate in the development, testing and implementation of new systems and products.
  • Support projects to optimize operational efficiency and improve quality.
  • Set and maintain standards of personal and professional performance; ensure accountability and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Coach and support other team members.
  • Perform processing functions related to fund administration services including monitoring non-STP transactions and static data setup.
  • Provide timely and accurate delivery of transaction processing for custody settlement and Middle Office accountants in the preparation of net asset valuation reports.
  • Provide prompt and professional advice to regional branches to ensure smooth operations and service delivery.
  • Participate in system and client testing to implement global strategy and fulfill business needs.
  • Work with Front Office to evaluate client needs and propose solutions for new deals.
  • Work with Customer Service Officers to investigate customer queries and issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Initiate and streamline processes relating to controls, productivity and regional service enhancements.
  • Identify and resolve business/technical issues with ASPAC branches and system support; monitor, track and evaluate transaction volume to provide monthly STP analysis and MIS reporting.
