Job Description: Fund Risk Management Support Analyst

CACEIS Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones. Malaysia is one of two operational processing hubs that supports:

• Custody - Transaction Management
• Settlements
• NAV Production
• Fund Reporting
• Shareholder Services
• Global Fund Platform Services
• Data Service Delivery
• Entitlements – income and corporate actions
• Reconciliations

The country employs a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across time zones and supports a 24/5 operational capability. The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of our global operations, improve service quality via our ‘centres of excellence’, and to implement/leverage standard processes globally.

Working Hours: 9AM - 6PM

What will you do?

1. Understand and perform complex fund operations with minimal support; propose improvements to rule setups to reduce false positives.
2. Investigate and analyze exceptions identified in ALTO, determine breach status (active, passive, warning, technical breach).
3. Provide coaching and guidance to Fund Accountants/Administrators within the Fund Risk Management Support Team.
4. Analyze fund prospectuses and information from external data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, Telekurs).
5. Understand and analyze legal rules of UCITS and other legal requirements; share updates with the team on any changes.
6. Understand client and country-specific investment limits; propose best practices for compliance checks.
7. Perform control reviews on breach items and input findings into systems (ALTO).
8. Communicate explanations and information to the oversight team regarding new breaches identified daily via email.
9. Perform and review controls for PCS funds.
10. Support any initiative changes within the team.
