Job summary

Evonik seeks a Function Controller to lead mid-term planning, forecast financial performance, and support cost management at regional/global levels. You will collaborate across functions to optimize processes and ensure alignment with strategic priorities, delivering clear insights for executives.

The role requires a strong FP&A background, 7+ years in large organizations, and experience with ERP systems and BI tools. A multinational background is preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accountancy.
• Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA or CFA) are an advantage.
• Minimum of 7 years in financial planning & analysis, with group/regional exposure.
• Experience in multinational or complex organizations preferred.
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead mid-term planning across cost, revenue, and CAPEX for global functions.
• Provide accurate forecasts of financial performance and align with priorities.
• Support cost management and control within targets; identify savings opportunities.
