About the role

We are seeking a talented Fullstack Java Consultant to join our dynamic team at DJava Factory Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time role that will see you play a key part in the development and delivery of cutting-edge Java-based software solutions for our diverse range of clients. As a Fullstack Java Consultant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.

What you'll be doing

Design, develop and maintain high-quality Java-based applications and services

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Write clean, well-documented code that adheres to best practices and industry standards

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure the codebase remains robust and maintainable

Proactively identify and resolve issues, optimising performance and scalability

Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies, frameworks and industry trends

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and practices

What we're looking for

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Java development, with exposure to full-stack web development

Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture and RESTful API design

Familiarity with SQL databases, NoSQL databases, and message queuing systems

Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Passion for technology and a keen interest in staying up-to-date with industry trends
