Job summary

MR DIY International invites you to join the MR Robot project as a Software Engineer Intern in Malaysia. You will work on full stack web applications, building features across frontend UI and backend APIs, under the guidance of senior engineers.

You will collaborate with designers and product managers, translate requirements into working software, write clean, tested code, and gain hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue) and RESTful services.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Solid foundations in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React, Vue, or similar).
• Basic understanding of backend concepts: HTTP, REST, databases, and server-side logic.
• Comfortable working with Git in a collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills and a growth mindset - you ask questions and take feedback well.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full stack features across both frontend UI and backend API layers.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate requirements into working software.
• Write clean, tested, and documented code with guidance from senior engineers.
• Debug issues across the stack and propose improvements to existing systems.
