Job description

Projects

  • Spearheading the digital transformation initiative for local and global insurance companies / insure-techs
  • Customizing the existing health tech and wellness platform (web and mobile) to suit a large scale enterprise customers
  • Develop a whole new B2C medical insurance product, build customized modules, functionality and integrate into the existing platform
  • On-going initiatives to maintain and enhance core internal products

Responsibilities

  • You will be part of the core engineering team to revamp the mental health coaching platform, improving and enhancing existing features / functions
  • Collaborate closely with the product team to develop a fresh and modern UI

Team & Culture

  • Reporting to the Head of Engineering while joining a wider KL engineering and data team of 12 + collaborating with the product team
  • All engineering works are based in KL that supports across SEA
  • High trust environment, you can work remote, set your own hours etc
  • Would suit someone who has worked in a start up /scale up before and has a continuous improvement mindset - someone who sees challenges as an opportunity to step up, not an obstacle to avoid

Must Have

  • Node.JS and React
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Curious, proactive and impact-driven - enjoys hands-on problem-solving and taking ownership

Nice to have

  • React Native / Typescript / Elixir
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise projects / health tech space

Grade / Level

  • 2 to 5 years of software engineering experience, 100% technical hands-on

Work Arrangement

  • 90% remote - meet 1 x per week as a team
  • Office reachable by MRT
