Job summary

GenCode Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Full Stack Developer to build and maintain web applications using PHP/Laravel in Malaysia. You will design and implement backend services, frontend interfaces, REST APIs, and essential integrations, while optimising MySQL databases for performance and reliability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions, leverage AI-assisted development where applicable, and contribute to product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Eng/IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant full stack or software development experience.
• Strong hands-on PHP and Laravel framework experience.
• Good knowledge of MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, web services, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, maintain, and support web applications using PHP/Laravel.
• Develop backend services, frontend interfaces, REST APIs, and system integrations.
• Design, develop, and optimise databases, primarily MySQL.
• Support Java-based applications and services where required.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance and reliability.
