Job summary

IDA Technology Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced backend/full-stack developer to deploy and maintain services on AWS, write infrastructure-as-code, and contribute to frontend work on Speckle-integrated web applications.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines / CodeDeploy), manage Docker containers, and work with NestJS, Terraform, and AWS services (ECS/Fargate, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, ElastiCache, S3) to deliver reliable, scalable software.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of backend or full-stack development experience.
• Solid understanding of Docker and Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
• Ability to read logs, trace failures, and debug unfamiliar codebases.
• Basic Terraform knowledge or demonstrable ability to pick it up quickly.
• Prior experience with Speckle or BIM/AEC tooling (nice to have).
• Familiarity with ECS/Fargate deployment patterns (nice to have).
• Familiarity with AI tooling, RAG, MCP frameworks (nice to have).
