Job summary

CG Computers Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a capable full-stack developer to build and maintain web applications with emphasis on performance, security, and scalability.

You will collaborate with back-end, front-end, and design teams to deliver high-quality user interfaces, and utilise AWS for cloud deployment and management. Proficiency in Laravel, MariaDB/MySQL, Git, and DevOps tools is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2+ years of software development experience.
• Knowledge of OOP and MVC; RESTful APIs development and integration.
• Familiar with web servers (Apache/NGINX) and related tooling.
• Experience with AWS and Laravel is advantageous; strong SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications with focus on performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with back-end, front-end, designers and other team members to deliver quality interfaces.
• Utilise AWS services to deploy and manage web applications in the cloud.
• Design and optimise MariaDB/MySQL databases to support functionality.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth production operation.
