Job summary

Hecta Data Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable full-stack developer to design, build, and maintain web applications. The role spans frontend interfaces, backend services, RESTful APIs, and UI/UX-driven implementations.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in full stack development, with strong PHP/Laravel or Python/FastAPI skills, solid JavaScript knowledge, and experience with React/Angular/Vue. Docker, CI/CD, and Agile experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/SE/IT or related field required.
• At least 2 years of experience in full stack or web development.
• Strong PHP/Laravel and/or Python/FastAPI skills.
• Solid JavaScript experience and frontend framework knowledge (React/Angular/Vue).
• Good HTML/CSS and responsive web development practices.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Git version control.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications.

• Stay updated with current technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and development processes.

Job Responsibilities

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in full stack or web application development.

• Strong experience in PHP/Laravel and/or Python/FastAPI.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and frontend development.

• Experience with React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive web development.

• Strong knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases.

• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab and version control.

• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices.

• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as within a development team.

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Experience with third-party API integration.

• Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth, or SSO.

• Experience with Docker and CI/CD.

• Experience with cloud or VPS environments.

• Knowledge of web application security and OWASP practices.

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
