Job summary

A leading technology company is seeking a Full Stack Developer with at least 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both mobile and backend development, familiar with CI/CD practices, cloud technologies, and possess a strong foundation in secure development practices. This position is based in Kuala Lumpur and is open to local Malaysian candidates.

Job description

Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ equivalent;

Candidate with 5 or more years of Full Stack experience

You take pride and ownership in your work;

Proven ability to document technical design processes, including development, tests, analytics, and troubleshooting

Experience with rapid development cycles environment

Experience with mobile development using frameworks or libraries like React Native, React Js, or Flutter Flow;

Experience with backend development using TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Python, NodeJs, NPM

Knowledge of best practices & principles such as TDD/BDD, SOLID, and design patterns.

Knowledge on building reports using Adobe, Jasper Reports

Strong scripting and test automation abilities

Working knowledge of databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle, and MS SQL

Experience in setting up and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines with Github Actions, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins;

Knowledge in cloud technologies such as PaaS services and cloud deployment platforms on Azure / GCP

Experience in complex Azure environments with Windows and Linux servers, and familiarity with tooling like Terraform, Bicep, Kubernetes, Powershell, Bash, DevOps, Github Actions, Jenkins, YAML, Swagger.

Familiarity with infrastructure as code and automation tools.

Demonstrated knowledge of secure development practices and security tools (Checkmarx, AquaSec, BurpSuite, APISec, SonarQube, CodeQL, Qualys, Snyk, Trivy, etc.).

Experience with Insurance, Finance, Accounting, or ERP solutions is an added advantage
