Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. on the Malaysia production floor seeks a Mechanical Engineer to assist the Production Manager with engineering and planning.

You will analyze orders and help develop a production schedule with the Head of Production & Operations, while ensuring plans are executed efficiently. Applicants should have a Mechanical Engineering qualification, be fluent in English and Mandarin, and be comfortable using AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
• Fresh graduates are welcome; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Manager with engineering and planning on the production floor.
• Analyze job orders and develop the production schedule with the Head of Production & Operations.
• Oversee and ensure production plans are executed as planned.
• Ensure cost recovery rates are implemented at all times.
• Procure raw materials to avoid delays in production/shipment.
• Maximise manpower efficiency while maintaining high-quality output.
• Liaise with clients, QC Dept. and production floor on quality issues or required rework.
• Undertake other assigned tasks as needed.
