The role requires strong hands-on Angular skills, RxJS, NgRx or equivalent, and collaboration with Backend, DevOps, QA, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Job Responsibilities

Cloud Kinetics is seeking an experienced Frontend Software Engineer (Angular) to support an enterprise-scale application development project in Malaysia.

The successful candidate will join an established engineering team to develop, enhance, and maintain Angular-based frontend applications across multiple modules. The role requires strong hands-on development capabilities, experience working with existing enterprise codebases, and the ability to deliver reliable, maintainable solutions within an Agile environment.

Beyond feature development, the engineer will contribute to improving frontend code quality, component reusability, consistency, and maintainability while supporting ongoing project releases.

Frontend Development & Application Maintenance

Work effectively with an existing, multi-module enterprise application, understanding its architecture, dependencies, and established development patterns.

Develop and maintain reusable, responsive, and scalable UI components, forms, workflows, dashboards, and other user-facing features.

Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, backend services, and authentication mechanisms.

Implement frontend state management, data validation, error handling, and API interactions using appropriate Angular patterns.

Troubleshoot defects, resolve technical issues, and support improvements to application performance, usability, and stability.

Code Quality & Frontend Standardization

Write clean, secure, testable, and maintainable frontend code following established engineering standards.

Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, refactoring, and technical quality improvements.

Identify inconsistencies, duplicated components, and maintainability issues within the existing frontend codebase.

Contribute to the development and adoption of reusable UI components, shared frontend patterns, and consistent coding practices across modules.

Collaborate with the technical team to improve frontend architecture and reduce technical debt without disrupting ongoing delivery.

Project Delivery & Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with Backend Developers, DevOps Engineers, QA, and other engineering stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, deployment, and release activities.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, technical discussions, and sprint reviews.

Requirements

Strong hands‑on professional experience in Angular frontend development, preferably within enterprise‑scale applications.

Solid understanding of Angular architecture, component lifecycle, dependency injection, routing, services, and component-based development.

Practical experience with RxJS and frontend state management approaches, such as NgRx or equivalent.

Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs, including authentication, validation, and error handling.

Demonstrated experience maintaining, debugging, and enhancing existing or complex frontend codebases.

Good understanding of reusable component design, frontend code quality, maintainability, and performance optimization.

Experience with unit testing, troubleshooting, code reviews, and Git-based version control.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with Backend, DevOps, QA, and cross‑functional engineering teams.

Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently, and ownership of assigned deliverables.

Good English communication skills, including the ability to clarify requirements, communicate technical issues, and collaborate with a regional project team.

Able to work onsite in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Available to join immediately or within a short notice period.
