Overview

Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Jalil marks the first Hyatt Place hotel in Malaysia. Located in Bukit Jalil, an affluent suburb within the southern corridor of Kuala Lumpur, the hotel features 250 guestrooms, a three-meal restaurant, large ballroom, 4 meeting rooms and flexible event space, rooftop restaurant, a fitness centre, and a sky pool.

We are currently looking for a Host - Gallery to join us as we embark on this exciting journey with the hotel. This position reports to the hotel Front Office Manager. Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open for Malaysian Citizen and Permanent Resident of Malaysia.

Responsibilities
  • Provide courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with the hotel’s policies to maximize guest satisfaction.
  • Be flexible to rotate within the Rooms division sub-departments or other departments as assigned and as necessary.
  • Ensure guests are offered the highest level of personalized service; report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and follow up with guests.
  • Be aware of hotel activities and provide proper handover of pending items for the next shift.
  • Be knowledgeable of all hotel services, facilities, and promotions; use upselling techniques.
  • Balance the cash report and remittance envelope at the end of the shift; perform opening and closing procedures.
  • Check and update room allocations for all guests; follow up on special requests.
  • Maintain regular contact with long-stay and suite guests to ensure an enjoyable stay.
Requirements

  • Support Supervisors and team; perform other duties as assigned.
