Job DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:- Define, design, develop, and configure Computer Vision (CV) integration systems, including hardware selection such as GPUs, vision cameras, lenses, and lighting. Establish communication interfaces between CV systems and machine software, supporting CV integration into automated equipment from setup to release.
- Coordinate internal and external resources for CV project deployment in manufacturing, including ROI calculations, creating specifications, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Apply troubleshooting skills, and utilize MSA, GR&R, and problem analysis techniques.
- Identify and evaluate potential CV integration opportunities to improve process quality.
- Review and advise on the integration of existing or new manufacturing systems and metrology practices.
- Manage relationships with project stakeholders and vendors, overseeing project progress.
- Provide project status updates, including milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, to stakeholders.
- Manage projects from inception through to production release, demonstrating strong project management skills.
QualificationsREQUIRED:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related fields.
- Experience with Computer Vision (CV) systems and integration.
- Knowledge of GPU hardware and vision camera systems.
- Familiarity with automated equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with ROI calculations and project specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in MSA and GR&R.
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems and metrology practices.
- Strong vendor management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments and levels.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
