Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source candidates based on requirements provided by HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers, in accordance with the approved manpower requisition.
  • Ensure the timely closure of manpower requisitions.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate closely with the internal Talent Management Team and Hiring Managers to ensure recruitment activities are completed successfully.
  • Develop sourcing strategies using resources provided by the Talent Management Team, including optimizing job postings, developing candidate marketing channels, procuring job boards, and planning comprehensive recruitment campaigns.
  • Identify and source suitable talent for assigned requisitions.
  • Perform pre-screening activities, including initial assessments and phone interviews, to improve the quality and relevance of shortlisted candidates.
  • Participate in recruitment events such as career fairs, college recruitment programs, and graduate development initiatives with the Talent Management Team.
  • Promote the employer brand of SGS.
  • Adhere to SGS Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies by maintaining good safety behavior and exercising necessary standards and processes to ensure compliance at all times.
Qualifications

PROFILE

  • Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Preferably 3 to 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in candidate sourcing.
  • Experience dealing with diverse businesses and managing various stakeholder levels in an MNC environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office is required; experience with HRIS systems (particularly SmartRecruiter) is an advantage.
  • Willing to work from home and travel nationwide occasionally.
  • Successful candidates will undergo a Company Familiarization Programme and Employer Brand Training.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
  • Mature with excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Energetic, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
