Visit.org is seeking a passionate and ambitious Freelance In-Person Event Host in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to join our Events team on a contract basis. The Event Host will facilitate interactive social impact experiences for our corporate partner at in-person events. This role is ideal for individuals with stage experience who are comfortable in front of a crowd and eager to contribute their skills to positively impact local communities worldwide. The candidate must be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and possess corporate event experience, an entrepreneurial spirit, a strong passion for our mission, and the energy and discipline to thrive in a start-up tech environment.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in Malay and English
• Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
• Available to work on a per-event contract basis
• Comfortable engaging with groups and individuals to maintain event flow and participant engagement
• Energetic, charismatic, and fun personality
• Experience in acting, comedy, improv, or similar fields is a plus but not required
• Experience in group facilitation and managing group dynamics
• High energy and positive attitude
• Quick thinker capable of problem-solving during events
• Enjoys public speaking and is comfortable with it
• Excellent customer service and presentation skills

What We Offer:

This is an in-person, per-event contract role based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Candidates must already reside in Kuala Lumpur, as no relocation packages are provided. This opportunity is exclusive to local candidates.
