Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG is seeking a Fraud Ops Assistant Manager in Kuala Lumpur to oversee fund transfer authentication and verification processes, prevent unauthorized transactions, and drive operational controls. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in fraud analytics, fraud operations, or financial crime risk within banking or financial services.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage workflows within a high‑risk and fast‑moving fraud environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day MPIP operations and workflow management.
  • Ensure payment verification requests are completed accurately and within established timelines.
  • Monitor transaction queues and workload distribution.
  • Act as first level escalation point for operational issues.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and technical support to team members.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new hires.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports.
