Job summary

Trees Engineering in Malaysia is seeking an experienced FPSO Project Manager to lead project planning, execution and delivery, coordinating engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning activities.

Candidates must have hands-on leadership of FPSO projects and the ability to manage interfaces across disciplines, vendors and clients, while maintaining schedule, budget and safety standards.

This is a one-year contract with potential extension, based in Johor, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Experience on at least two FPSO projects.
• Identify projects, roles and scope managed.
• Proven senior project leadership within FPSO developments.
• Understanding of FPSO execution and interfaces across engineering, procurement, fabrication, integration and commissioning.
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and client expectations.
• Strong planning, cost control, risk and change management.
• Effective leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to undertake a one-year contract with possible extension.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality and delivery targets.

• Serve as the main project focal point for client, subcontractors, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, identify delivery risks and implement corrective actions.
• Manage project interfaces, resource needs and subcontractor performance.
• Review scope changes and their impact on cost and schedule.
• Ensure execution complies with contractual requirements, technical specifications and HSE/quality standards.
• Lead progress meetings and report on performance, risks and outstanding actions.
• Coordinate completion, handover and close-out activities.

Requirements

• Experience on at least two FPSO projects is mandatory.
• Candidates should clearly identify the projects, their roles and the scope managed.
• Demonstrated project management or senior project leadership experience within FPSO developments.
• Strong understanding of FPSO project execution and interfaces across engineering, procurement, fabrication, integration and commissioning.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, contractors and client expectations.
• Strong capabilities in planning, cost control, risk management, change management and contract administration.
• Effective leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to undertake aone-year contract, with the possibility of extension.
