Job summary

Intel Corporation in Malaysia (Penang) invites motivated students for an internship across the Foundry Construction and Sourcing organization. You will work on real projects alongside professionals in supply chain, sourcing, construction, and project management, with assignments matched to your studies, skills, and interests.

Your internship may include construction project management, planning, cost, scheduling, and controls, vendor coordination, and safety/quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• On-site work in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments may be required.
• Preferred exposure to project management or construction-related coursework.

Intel’s Foundry Construction and Sourcing organization brings together the teams that source, plan, engineer, and build the facilities and infrastructure that enable semiconductor manufacturing.
As an intern, you’ll work on real projects alongside professionals across supply chain, sourcing, construction, engineering, and construction project management. Your assignment will be matched to your academic background, skills, interests, and business needs.

What You May Work On

• Help improve processes, tools, systems, cost, quality, and execution.
• Prepare project updates, analyses, and recommendations.
• Apply what you’re learning in school to complex, real-world business and technical challenges.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
You must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as:

• Construction Management or Construction Engineering
• Industrial, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical/Process, Materials, or Computer Engineering
• Data Science or Computer Science

Some assignments may require on-site work in a construction, manufacturing, or industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Coursework, projects, internships, or experience in areas such as:

• Construction or project management
• Engineering or manufacturing
• Supplier or contractor management
• Data analytics or visualization
• Project controls, cost, or scheduling
