Qualifications

• 8-12 years of professional experience in product design, UX/UI, or related fields.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead meetings, set agendas, and persuasively explain design rationales to stakeholders to reach agreement.
• Deep understanding of human-centered design principles and a demonstrated ability to design experiments, test hypotheses, and drive data-informed decisions.
• Experience navigating ambiguity and tactical trade-offs in a fast-paced environment, ideally within UGC platforms, creator tools, or AI-driven consumer products.
• Proven experience independently owning design outcomes and practices for a dedicated vertical team or complex platform features.

Responsibilities

• Own Quality & Delivery: Own the design outcomes and practice for several vertical or horizontal teams, acting as the standard-bearer for quality and excellence across these groups.
• Problem Solving & Navigation: Apply problem-solving frameworks and people-centered principles to guide the team in exploring complex problem spaces.
• Data-Driven Experimentation: Design experiments to test hypotheses and validate assumptions, collaborating with cross-functional partners.
• Effective Communication: Create compelling visual and written documentation with clear supporting rationale.
• Cross-Functional Alignment & Autonomy: Give clear direction across teams and self-direct on all but the most ambiguous initiatives.
