Forex Manager

Execute deals with Banks and exchange houses internationally with pre-set margins.

Constant monitoring of currency market movement.

Provide market information to branches on currency movement (in & out).

Constant update of currency rates across branches, currency market movement/volatility.

Ensure efficient procurement of currencies at best rates through negotiating.

Business projection & Fund Forecasting for Remittance and FC in coordination with the Finance Dept.

Set FC Revaluation rates every day without fail.

Input of unfix/Open deals accurately and confirm deals on time.

Update fund position with Finance Department daily.

Competitive forex rates are always set for the branches.

Check the currency requirement across branches and overseas and import currency.

Dealings Operations

Maintain healthy customer relationships through quick concern resolution, increasing customer base in the long run.

Monitoring forex market and taking deals with Trade partners.

Input FC deals on the system for executing its CPC.

Co-ordinate with CPC to execute FC deals, physical cash counting, checking, verification and currency movement.

Basic market updates, advise branches on forex practices, provide trainings and tips.

Provide trainings internally and externally on counterfeit notes.

Coordinating with clearing agents and security companies for proper clearance and transportation of Export-Import of currencies

Timely booking of Airway bills with appropriate airline companies for all the confirmed currency exports

Proper coordination with overseas clients, security agencies & freight forwarding companies to ensure hassle free Export-Imports operations.

Assist and support other functions of the Banknotes department as and when necessary.

Fund/Capital Management

Manage funds on a daily basis for Bank notes & branch FC Business

Update fund position to Finance department on a daily basis.

Update accounts team on funds required for effective operations.

On time covering of FC position and stock

Estimate and mitigate currency rate fluctuation risks through hedging of major currencies

Requirements :

Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Professional qualification in Accounting / Finance / Banking / Treasury or equivalent.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar bank note dealing or foreign exchange role.

Strong knowledge of foreign currency markets, exchange rates, and financial regulations.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in data management and record-keeping.

Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Retired employees from banking field or experience in cash counting are encouraged to apply.
