Sri Nona Food Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Cocoaland)’s journey has been one of reinvention – from our humble beginnings as a family-owned, local snacks and fruit gummy producer to now a major confectionary manufacturer that is listed on Bursa. Today, Sri Nona Food Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd (F&NHB), after a full acquisition on 4 November 2022.

What will you do?

New Product Development: Designing, Testing & Commercializing new products according to project timeline.

Product Continuous Improvement: Improvement/Modification of existing products to increase performance/reduce cost.

Raw Material Evaluation: Evaluate new/alternative raw materials as part of Business Continuity Plan/Quality Improvement.

Formulation & Prototype Designing: To research, design, test & confirm new/existing formulations while ensuring requirements on food safety, product stability & product quality is met.

Document Control: Generate & maintan all necessary documentation according to FSSC Requirements for all commercialized projects (e.g.: Formula Sheet, Manufacturing Instruction, Product Specification, Change Control Form etc).

ODM / OEM Supplier Qualification: Assist the R&D Manager in qualifying new/alternative ODMs/OEMs according to business needs.

Conduct Trial & Commercial Runs, Sensory Evaluation, Shelf Life Study, Application Test of products according to project requirements.

Manufacturing Line Performance Qualification: Assist the R&D Manager in Line Extensions (existing lines)/New Line Set Up Qualification.

Artwork Review: Generation & Review of Artwork Information in collaboration with R&D Regulatory PIC.

Troubleshooting: Conduct troubleshooting to identify root causes and provide applicable solutions for issues in Production Line/Product Quality or Food Safety/Consumer Complaints.

Data Analysis: Able to propose, collect, compille & analyze data to draw reasonable hypothesis & conclusions.

Packaging Evaluation: Support Packaging Evaluation related projects from Group R&D/Business Unit Initiatives.

SAP Management: To built, update & maintain formulation, finished product set up, raise PR via the SAP System.

About you?

Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Food Science / Food Technology / Food Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 2.5 - 3 years experience in the FMCG Industry. It would be an added plus if the individual has a background in Sauces & Pastes/ Savoury Fritter Premix/ Rice Cake.

Good Project Management Skills.

Intermediate level of proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia & English (Reading, Writing & Speaking).

Eager to learn with a can do attitude. Strong sense of responsibility, an independent individual that is not afraid to face challenges.

Applicants must be willing to work in RAWANG and have own transportation.

Good analytical and numerical skills.

IT literate (Able to use MS Office, Powerpoint, Excel)
