Job description

Are you who we are looking for? If you have at least 4-5 years of direct experience in Dairy Products, preferably in a food manufacturing environment and spray-drying processes, you are the perfect fit!

What you will do:

  • Design experiments and derive appropriate conclusions for the development of new products or processes.
  • Have good knowledge of various dairy products and manufacturing processes, especially spray-drying.
  • Perform laboratory testing or analysis of products in specific categories.
  • Calculate and compare product and process costs & margins.
  • Have a basic understanding of food safety, food regulation, quality, and EHS.
  • Utilize formulation understanding and troubleshooting skills to solve problems.
  • Understand various unit operations in food processing and operate and maintain equipment at bench top and pilot levels.

Who we are looking for:

  • A minimum degree in any Science discipline, preferably Food Science & Technology or a relevant field, with 3-5 years of experience in dairy or dairy-related products (yogurt, process cheese, dairy beverages, etc.), with exposure to dairy ingredients and plant experience.
  • Good organizational skills for managing diverse research & development duties and staff.
  • Proficiency in oral and written English and Malay.
  • Fast learner, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable, proactive, and highly initiative.
  • Computer literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
