The Food & Beverage Sales Executive is responsible for proactively soliciting and managing restaurant sales-related opportunities. He/she actively up-sells each business opportunity to maximize revenue through in-house and hot zone sales efforts, achieving personal and team revenue goals. This role drives customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience, providing service to grow the business.
What will I be doing?
As the Food & Beverage Sales Executive, you will:
- Work collaboratively with the Sales & Marketing department to generate new business opportunities.
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings, including in-house promotions, sales calls, entertainment, and active involvement in restaurant service during peak hours.
- Develop relationships within the community to expand the customer base for restaurant sales opportunities.
- Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive in-house capture ratio by working closely with the Marketing Communications department to establish promotions.
- Engage with guests in hotel public areas to generate additional business.
- Plan and execute Food & Beverage promotions with Operations and Commercial departments for internal and external communications.
- Promote the Dining Club Program, support the Sales team, and gather feedback on the program.
- Explore hosting social events to maximize revenue.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing Account Managers to visit potential accounts and drive restaurant business.
- Attend social functions to network and find new business opportunities.
- Use negotiation and creative selling skills to create additional restaurant business.
- Support operational aspects of booked business.
- Monitor market competition and understand market trends to enhance selling strategies.
- Close opportunities based on market conditions and property needs.
- Monitor same-day selling procedures to maximize revenue.
- Understand target customer needs and service expectations.
- Act as a guest service role model, setting a positive example for customer service.
- Ensure exemplary customer service to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
- Engage with guests for feedback and improve service quality.
- Assist customers by understanding their needs and recommending features/services.
- Work with the Hostess team to manage reservations and maintain the restaurant database.
- Perform other sales-related responsibilities as assigned.
What are we looking for?
To succeed as a Food & Beverage Sales Executive at Hilton, you should:
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Possess a High School diploma or GED.
- Have experience in Food & Beverage, Sales, Marketing, Guest Services, or a related area, or hold a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.
