Job description

The F&B Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This role plays a vital part in upholding service standards, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting overall restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will be personable, attentive, and dedicated to creating a welcoming atmosphere.

THE JOBSCOPE

  • Greet guests promptly and warmly, presenting menus and offering recommendations when needed.

Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar efficiently.

Serve food and drinks in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.

Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond promptly to requests.

Set up and clear tables, maintaining cleanliness and proper table settings at all times.

Follow outlet opening and closing procedures, including side duties and cleaning checklists.

Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest experience and maximize revenue.

Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service delivery.

Handle billing processes accurately and efficiently, including processing payments.

Adhere to health and safety regulations, hygiene standards, and grooming guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a server in a hotel or restaurant environment preferred.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.

Customer-focused attitude with a friendly and positive personality.

Basic knowledge of food and beverage menus and service standards.

Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus.
