About the role

This full-time Food & Beverage Attendant position at the Kota Kinabalu Marriott Hotel in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah provides an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant and bar areas.

What you'll be doing

Greet and welcome guests, and guide them to their tables

Take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff

Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and professional manner

Maintain a clean and organised dining area, restocking supplies as needed

Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining room before and after service

Handle customer queries and complaints with tact and professionalism

Adhere to health, safety and hygiene standards at all times

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

A friendly, outgoing personality and a genuine passion for the hospitality industry

Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues
