Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the daily management of our coffee outlet operations. This includes ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining product quality, supporting team leadership, and helping to meet sales and operational targets.
- Supervise day-to-day operations to ensure smooth workflow and service delivery.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for beverage preparation, cleanliness, and hygiene.
- Lead, train, and motivate outlet staff (baristas and service crew).
- Manage shift schedules, attendance, and team productivity.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing performance evaluation.
- Ensure excellent service delivery and handle customer feedback professionally.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, ingredients, packaging, and supplies.
- Submit basic operational and sales reports to management.
- Maintain outlet cleanliness and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ensure staff follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate uniforms/PPE.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and ensure preventive maintenance.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a Food and Beverage, coffee outlet, or cafe environment.
- Possession of Food Handling Certificate and Typhoid Vaccination is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation methods (espresso, brewing, latte art, etc.) is preferred.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Able to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays, and working 6 days/week.
