Job description

Job Purpose

Perform maintenance activities, including rigging of all network elements at the regional level, to ensure optimal network performance according to agreed indicators.

Accountabilities

1. Be on 24-hour standby based on the schedule roster to assist in managing faults within the concerned area within the agreed timeline.
2. Perform on-site interventions to restore and rectify faulty equipment, ensuring functionality within the required indicators.
3. Conduct rigging activities during network failure, preventive maintenance, and other events, including service delivery activities as per quality and timeline standards.
4. Manage all work slips efficiently, ensuring they are opened and closed within the allowable timeline.
5. Perform routine preventive maintenance, CA, RF, WO, MR updates, and all related work on network elements within the agreed timeline.
6. Attend to customer complaints within the area of responsibility as assigned and directed by superiors within the agreed timeline.
7. Record all TT logs, timesheets, and report accurately in relevant logbooks and systems, ensuring data is always up-to-date.
8. Implement improvement initiatives to enhance team performance.
9. Execute work activities safely, maintaining a secure workplace before, during, and after each job, following all safety guidelines and requirements, including site access and supervision.
10. Support the execution and implementation of projects based on the scope of work and timeline by performing required activities.
11. Ensure all sites are safe and well-maintained by identifying potential hazards and proposing corrective actions.
12. Secure sites properly and control access to ensure only authorized personnel enter, following prescribed processes.
13. Assist with site access, key management, and accompany third-party activities on-site when necessary.
14. Adhere to and implement the company's EHS policy, including:

• Being aware of OSHE hazards and risks in the work area.
• Taking reasonable care for personal and others' safety and health.
• Cooperating with the employer and others in safety duties as per OSHA 1994 and related regulations.
• Wearing and using protective equipment at all times.
• Following safety instructions and measures implemented by the employer or authorities.
