Fairview International School seeks a Nurse/First Aid Personnel to ensure the health and well-being of students and staff. We are seeking a qualified Nurse/First Aid Personnel to provide health care and first aid support for students and staff at Fairview International School. This role requires a compassionate professional with a strong background in nursing and first aid, as well as the ability to manage health-related emergencies in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed.
Assess and manage student health issues, including chronic illnesses, allergies, and injuries.
Maintain accurate and confidential health records for students.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with school policies.
Conduct health screenings and participate in health education programs.
Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student health and well-being.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and school policies.
Maintain the school’s first aid supplies and medical equipment.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in school nursing and first aid.
Camp Trip Responsibilities:
Accompany students and staff on scheduled camp trips (3-5 days each quarter) to provide medical support and ensure health and safety.
Prepare and maintain a first aid kit for camp trips, ensuring it is fully stocked and compliant with health regulations.
Conduct health assessments and provide first aid during camp activities.
Communicate any health concerns or emergencies to the trip leader and school administration.
Qualifications:
Valid nursing license (Registered Nurse or equivalent).
Certification in First Aid and CPR.
Previous experience in school health services or paediatric nursing preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to health care.
The role requires flexibility to adapt to a school environment and travel for camp trips.
Will involve standing, walking, and managing physical activities with students.

The tuition fee for this course is fully sponsored by the school. There are ample opportunities for professional development including the International Baccalaureate Teaching and Learning Awards.
