Job summary

Keysight invites applications for a Firmware Intern to join our R&D team in Malaysia. The role offers hands-on experience in embedded firmware development and testing, supporting both new product initiatives and existing systems.

You will assist in setting up automated build processes, work on firmware for prototypes, perform debugging and testing, and document findings throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge in embedded systems.
• Familiarity with version control and software development workflows.
• Good documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up automated build processes for firmware projects, ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Support firmware development for new product prototypes, including bug fixing and troubleshooting.
• Perform testing and debugging of firmware modules to meet functional and performance requirements.
• Document technical findings and development progress.
• Prepare design documentation throughout the firmware development lifecycle.
• Develop and run unit test scripts for firmware modules.
