Job summary

Phillip Capital Group in Malaysia is seeking an IT Developer to analyze, design, develop, test, document, deploy and maintain secure business applications. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver reliable solutions using .NET, SQL Server, modern web technologies and reporting tools.

The role requires hands-on experience, the ability to work across the SDLC, collaborate with project teams, and apply secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Typically 2–4 years of relevant software development experience.
• Experience in financial services, investment, payment or other regulated enterprise systems is advantageous.
• Practical experience in database-driven web applications, API integration, testing, deployment and production support within a structured SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Develop software using current technologies in line with enterprise standards.
• Analyze, estimate, design, develop, test, document, deploy and support applications.
• Transform business requirements into technical specifications that are clear and testable.
• Develop and maintain .NET services, ASP.NET Web API and REST APIs with secure controls.
• Design, optimize MS SQL Server objects and SSIS packages for ETL and reporting.
