Job description
Introduction

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Finance Team at BERJAYA CKE GROUP Corporate Office in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in the company's financial reporting and analysis processes.

What you’ll be doing
  • Analysis and Financial Reporting: Responsible for financial analysis and developing large datasets, support in identifying trends and insights in financial performance, and ensuring efficient reporting and establishing business reporting processes.
  • Performance Management and Strategic Decision Support (Including Pricing & Cost Management): Conduct cost and profitability analysis to support strategic initiatives, perform analysis and performance evaluation on the activities of all business segments, prepare and highlight key drivers of business performance and review customer and product margins.
  • Forecast and Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the company’s monthly and annual budget, liaise with each department to ensure all the expenses are within the planning budget.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Accountancy or professional qualifications in ACCA, CIMA, CPA.
  • Min 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, as well as have a working knowledge of various spreadsheets, accounting software and financial reporting tools.
  • Experience in Data Analytics and Business Partnering is an advantage.
  • Analytical, resourceful, organised, meticulous, responsible, excellent problem‑solving skills, and committed to meeting deadlines.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to Digital Transformation and Efficiency Initiatives.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay. Being fluent in Mandarin is an additional advantage.
  • The salary offer will be determined based on the relevant experience that meets the requirements of this role.
