Description

1. Report directly to the Finance Director to oversee and lead core financial reporting functions, including financial & management reporting, financial planning and budgeting, treasury, funding, tax management, policy development, and related legal work.
2. Oversee and participate in feasibility studies and due diligence on potential investments, organizational budgeting, and assessing the cost-effectiveness of manufacturing plants, advising on the investment impact on cash flow and profits.
3. Develop and maintain good relationships with banks, audit firms, and regulators.
4. Ensure internal controls are in place and that the company complies with regulatory laws and rules related to financial, statutory, audit, and tax reporting.
5. Plan and implement risk management strategies to create economic value, particularly managing credit and market risks.
6. Source funding, evaluate, and apply for financing and loan instruments.
7. Oversee cash flow projections, manage payment and collection schedules to ensure efficiency in cash management.
8. Lead periodic budget reviews with the team to evaluate financial performance.
9. Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information, and recommend strategic and operational improvements.
10. Perform any other ad-hoc functions assigned by management.

Profile

1. Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master's degree is an advantage.
2. Minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar role.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Experience as a financial controller or in management roles is advantageous.
5. Experience liaising with banks regarding funding and project accounting.
6. Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
7. Knowledge of manufacturing financial operations is a plus.
8. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.
9. Proactive, visionary, and willing to take calculated risks for business growth.
10. Attention to detail, alertness, and ability to identify growth and cost-saving opportunities, as well as process improvements.
11. Strong understanding of the latest accounting standards.
12. Excellent reporting and organizational skills.

Job Offer

You will be rewarded with an attractive package of RM 18,000 - RM 25,000 monthly.
