About Our Client

Job Description

  • Report directly to the MD, to oversee and provide leadership of core financial reporting functions, which include financial & management reporting, financial planning and budgetary control, treasury, funding, tax management, policy development and financial related legal work;
  • Oversee and participate in feasibility studies and due diligence on potential investment, organization budget, determining cost effectiveness of respective manufacturing plants and its execution, to advise on the investment impact to the group cash and profit position;
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with the banks, audit firm and regulators;
  • Ensure internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial, statutory, audit and tax reporting / requirements;
  • Plan and execute risk management as a practice of creating economic value by using financial instruments to manage risk exposure, particularly credit risk and market risk;
  • Responsible to source for funding, evaluate and apply for financing and loan instruments;
  • Oversee cash flow projections of the Company, to control payment and collection schedule to achieve efficiency in cash management system;
  • Leading the periodical review on budget with team to evaluate the reasonableness of financial results;
  • Develops tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the Management and make recommendations on both strategy and operations to strategically enhance financial performance business decisions and opportunities;
  • Any other ad-hoc function assigned by the Management.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or related professional qualification. Those with Master Degree will have added advantage;
  • Minimum 8 years related experience in similar field;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Candidate with experience holding financial controller / management role will have an added advantage;
  • Experienced in liaising with bankers on funding requirements & project accounting;
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen;
  • Candidate possesses sound knowledge of manufacturing financial operations will have an added advantage;
  • Excellent leadership skills and able to motivate and develops others;
  • Aggressive, visionary and willing to take calculated risk for dynamic business growth;
  • Attentive to details, alert and capable of identifying business growth & cost saving opportunity as well as process improvement alternative;
  • Strong understanding of latest accounting standard;
  • Strong reporting and organizational skills.
