Description

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting: Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate financial statements in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and industry-specific guidelines. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
2. Cost & Operational Accounting: Develop cost tracking systems, analyze operational costs, and provide financial support to operational teams.
3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning: Lead the development of budgets and forecasts, monitor performance, and support strategic decisions with financial models.
4. Treasury & Risk Management: Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financial risks, implementing hedging strategies as needed.
5. Internal Controls & Compliance: Maintain internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
6. Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative environment.

Profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
• 10-15 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience as a financial controller or in management roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing finance and project funding is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, business acumen, and knowledge of accounting standards.

Job Offer

Salary: RM 25,000 - RM 30,000 monthly.
