Job summary

PHN Industry Sdn Bhd, a DRB-HICOM group automotive components manufacturer, is seeking a Financial Controller Assistant Manager/Manager. The role requires a finance/accountancy degree or professional qualification and strong management accounting skills. Manufacturing experience is an advantage.

The successful candidate will lead budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and board-level financial reporting while improving internal controls and driving efficiencies across plants and corporate levels.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Practical understanding of management accounting principles and techniques
• Solid knowledge of standard accountancy and finance best practices
• In-depth knowledge of budgeting and financial forecasting
• Experience in manufacturing industry would be an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Build annual budgets and rolling cash flow projections.
• Prepare monthly variance analyses and conduct monthly budgetary review with all Head of Plants
• Prepare and conduct monthly meetings for forecast SOCI for plants and company level.
• Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies
• Improve and maintain Finance internal control policies / SOP to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
• Prepare Board papers and any financial related presentations assigned by the Head of Finance.
• Monitor inventories’ values and coordinate stock take exercises to ensure correct inventories value recorded.
• Identify, analyze part’s profitability and area for profitability improvements
• People management, department administration and ad-hoc assignments

Process a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy or Professional Qualification (MICPA/CIMA/ACCA)

Related Experience
