Financial Controller, Assets Management

Develop and maintain financial models for performance tracking and decision-making.

Monitor cash flows, revenue projections, and investment returns to ensure financial stability.

Analyse asset profitability and provide recommendations for cost optimization and efficiency.

Oversee the preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance with statutory audit, tax submissions, and regulatory requirements.

Maintain transparency in financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting

Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.

Perform variance analysis to assess financial performance and identify areas for improvement.

Implement and monitor financial controls to mitigate risks, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance.

Ensure accurate accounting treatment of assets, including impairments and depreciation, in line with financial standards.

5. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

Optimize cash flow by managing liquidity, funding strategies, and working capital.

Develop and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions for financing arrangements.

6. Investment Performance & Strategy

Conduct financial due diligence on potential investments and divestments.

7. Tax Planning & Optimization

Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies for asset management operations.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations while optimizing tax positions.

Liaise with tax consultants to manage tax implications of acquisitions and disposals.

8. Technology & Process Optimization

Leverage financial systems, ERP solutions, and automation tools to improve efficiency.

Requirements:

Possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent.

Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, MACPA, CPA.

Minimum 10 years' experience as a Financial Controller/CFO in related fields within a property developer or similar industry.

Able to work independently and lead a finance team.

Good knowledge of operational processes, accounting principles, and standards.

Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, proactiveness, and result orientation.
