Job summary

Incora Asia Pte. Limited is seeking an experienced Financial Controller for its Malaysia Shared Service Center in Johor. The role oversees accounting, financial reporting, controllership, and compliance across RoW, ensuring financial integrity and strong governance.

You will lead the Malaysia SSC finance team, manage close processes, and drive process improvements, ERP enhancements, and automation initiatives in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, MICPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or controllership experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing accounting or finance teams.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, statutory reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience working across multiple countries, legal entities, and shared service center environments.
• Experience leading process improvement, finance transformation, or system implementation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, local statutory requirements, and company accounting policies.

• Manage statutory reporting, external audits, and regulatory compliance across the region.
• Partner with Tax, Treasury, Legal, FP&A, Operations, HR, and IT teams on key business initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Malaysia SSC finance team.
• Drive process standardization, continuous improvement, and finance transformation initiatives.
• Support ERP enhancements, reporting tools, and automation projects across the RoW organization.

We are looking for an experienced finance leader to oversee accounting, financial reporting, controllership, and compliance activities for our Malaysia Shared Service Center (SSC). This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring financial integrity, strong governance, and operational excellence across multiple countries within the RoW region.

This is an on-site position based in Johor.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, MICPA, CIMA, or equivalent.

7+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or controllership experience.

Proven leadership experience managing accounting or finance teams.

Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, statutory reporting, and internal controls.

Experience working across multiple countries, legal entities, and shared service center environments.

Experience leading process improvement, finance transformation, or system implementation initiatives.

Experience with ERP and financial consolidation systems (JDE, OneStream, GEAC, or equivalent).

Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Fluent English language skills. Mandarin language skill is a nice to have.
