Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare monthly review for business (to review cost vs budget, revised forecasts, variations, claims, productivity, progress etc).
  2. Plan the financing needs for future business and obtain the required financing facilities in a timely manner.
  3. Identify any potential risks to the business.
  4. Develop financial strategy including risk minimisation plans and opportunity forecasting.
  5. Attend to various statutory, secretarial, tax and government requirements.
  6. Monitor cash flow projection and treasury activities.
  7. Refine and improve costing system to meet business requirement.
  8. Ensure timely and high level financial or management reporting and analysis.
  9. Coordinate to prepare yearly budgets and forecasts.
  10. Ensure effective financial control of operations by monitoring and overseeing the use of control systems, procedures and mechanisms.
  11. Adhere to all accounting guidelines as well as complying with generally accepted current accounting standards.
  12. Assist in the evaluation of financing proposals.
  13. Coordinate with company secretary on corporate secretarial matters.
  14. Liaise with banks and other financial institutions, audit, insurance, tax, legal and corporate insurance matters.
  15. Ensure compliance with obligations by compiling periodic internal and statutory reports.
  16. Establish and maintain effective internal controls to protect and safeguard the company’s assets and conformity to corporate policies and procedures.
  17. Maintain good effective relationships with principals, suppliers, government authorities, external and internal auditors.
  18. Consolidation for Group Accounts.
  19. Perform any other financial, treasury and corporate secretarial related duties as needed.
  20. Lead IPO initiatives, plan and organise IPO activities, spearhead IPO initiatives.

Requirements:

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or its equivalent.
  2. Possess legal/litigation knowledge with accounting/finance background.
  3. Certified MIA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent is required.
  4. Minimum 5 years related working experience for this position.
  5. Experience in dealing with corporate finance matters.
  6. Familiar with Property Developer Industry.
  7. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. IFCA).
  8. Strong analytical mind with strategic ability.
  9. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  10. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities (Mandarin, Malay and English).
  11. Possess hands-on personality who works autonomously with a lean and flat structure in a dynamic organization.
