The Position

ASPIRE is a multi-year program that will define, design, and deploy future ERP solutions based on SAP S/4 HANA and other cloud/on-premise technology platforms. The program aims to enable simplified, standardized, and harmonized global business processes by leveraging SAP, industry best practices, and Roche's effective practices.

What you will do

You will act as a Deployment Specialist as part of the ASPIRE program, focusing on Financial Compliance (Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) and Financial Approvals/Delegation of Authorities) for rollouts of Sales Affiliates and/or Manufacturing Sites across APAC, EMEA, NA, and LATAM regions.

Your deployment activities will include:

  1. Preparation and leading of FIT-to-Template assessments and scoping workshops for Financial Compliance.
  2. Liaising with local affiliate Finance stakeholders for implementing Financial Compliance requirements.
  3. Assessing localization requirements for ICFR and financial approvals.
  4. Contributing to Change Impact Assessments.
  5. Executing testing activities during deployment (UT, SAT, UAT, REG) for financial approval requirements.
  6. Preparing and delivering Key User / End User training.
  7. Providing Go Live & Hyper care support, including month-end closing.
  8. Providing input to adapt future state internal controls' framework in alignment with functional streams and global teams, if applicable.
  9. Creating, aligning, and delivering project documentation according to the ASPIRE PMM.
  10. Ensuring template governance and change control management in line with project and finance governance standards.
Who you are
  1. You're someone eager to influence and shape new territories, seeking opportunities across functions and geographies.
  2. You possess a university degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a plus.
  3. You have 5+ years of relevant business experience or project management skills in finance, Demand to Pay, or internal controls (ICFR)/Audit.
  4. You have broad knowledge of finance business processes, policies, and programs.
  5. You possess strong project management, business partner management, communication, and change management skills. Experience in Agile methodologies is a plus.
  6. You can identify and implement process/control improvements based on a solid understanding of finance processes.
  7. You have strong interpersonal skills, as the role is highly consultative and involves interaction across all organizational levels.
  8. You are experienced in working with multicultural teams.
  9. Proficiency in English and Japanese is required to support our counterparts in Japan.
