Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing sector, offering cutting-edge solutions across multiple markets. With a strong commitment to innovation and operational excellence, they are seeking an experienced Financial Closing & Reporting Manager to join their dynamic team. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and closing processes across multiple regions.

Description

Your job duties will include:

1. Financial Closing & Reporting: Manage and oversee the financial closing process, ensuring that all reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual periods are completed accurately and within tight timelines (within 3 working days).
2. Pre & Post Closing Analysis: Perform detailed reviews and analysis of business and financial results, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders during both the pre-closing and post-closing phases.
3. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across over 50 legal entities to ensure smooth execution of the financial closing process.
4. Accounting Standards Knowledge: Apply a strong understanding of various accounting standards and requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
5. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a sizeable team, providing guidance and direction to ensure optimal performance during the financial closing process.
6. Global Coordination: Coordinate with teams across different time zones and cultures to facilitate the timely and accurate completion of financial reporting and closing processes.

Profile

The successful candidate will ideally have a Degree in Accounting, or a related field. It will be an added advantage if they also have professional certifications such as ACCA or CPA. They will have 5+ years of experience in financial closing and reporting, and experience in a large scale corporate environment.
